Epic Creative Productions are an entertainment and productions company providing acts all over the world.

Having already designed the front end, brochure website, at www.ecpl.co.uk Epic asked Nu Web Design to create a full diary management system.

The website works as follows:

The site admin are able to upload a specific ACT to the website which then appears in the artiste directory.

Acts have their own account on the website enabling them to manage an online profile and read company documents.

Acts also have access to an online diary where they can plot exactly where they are throughout the year and on what dates.

Clients of Epic have, through a separate login, read-only access to the online diary meaning they can look at which acts are available and when should they be looking for new artistes for their cruise ships or other entertainment venues.

The website presented a number of challenges in that no system like it in that no other similar system exists within the industry at the present time so Nu Web had to start from scratch. In the end, the website was a huge success and proved very popular with clients and artistes alike, leading to a Phase II of the development which is currently underway.
